Ring Master Hugini

We adore our pet guinea pigs and love to include them in our play. Hugo checks on them every evening before bed and cuts up fresh cucumber for them as it's their favourite. Hugo was very excited to take this picture. He helped me set everything up just so and ensured the guinea pigs had their hay, lettuce, cucumber and fresh water.

This was shot with my Nikon Z8 with Nikkor 28-75mm f2.8 Lens and Profoto A10 used off camera with Clic Octa Softbox 2,3. I used Hugos bedroom wall as the backdrop and also had window light in the same position as my off camera flash. I had to take the matress of Hugos bed to get it out of the way of our shot. I shot Hugo alone and then Hugo with each guinea pig. I tried to take photos of the three of them together but it was chaos with pigs running everywhere. To get the final image I made a composite of 5 images I took.
