My newborn and first birthday sessions are designed to capture the wonder, connection and joy of these fleeting moments. The newborn session marks the momentous and emotional occasion of your baby's arrival into your family, complete with zero birthday cake for the whole family to celebrate and sing happy birthday to your newest family member. While the first birthday session captures the laughter, curiosity and fun. Each session is artfully crafted to capture your family's love in an authentic, timeless way you'll treasure forever.
Zero Birthday Celebration
The day our eldest son was born we had a small celebration in our hospital room with cake and alcohol free champagne. We sang happy birthday and toasted to his bright future. It has become one of my most cherished moments from that time. I still watch the video of us singing our newborn baby happy birthday and am flooded with joyful emotions and swell with tears. It was such a beautiful way to pause and mark the occasion that I want everyone to be able to have this experience.
These sessions include all the usual beauty of a newborn shoot but with the added bonus of cake! I will still capture those precious photos of baby’s tiny features and your loving immediate family. I’ll also bring a cake so you can all soak in the moment and feel the joy of singing happy birthday to your newest most precious miracle. We can shoot in your own home or have a picnic at a beautiful location. We won’t just pose but truly celebrate and create a significant memorable moment.
First Birthday Celebration
There’s something so special about the pride and emotions you feel as a parent singing happy birthday to your child and the priceless magic birthdays have for children. This session is designed to press pause on that moment for you and your family. For you to be present, sing happy birthday and allow me to capture that moment. This session includes family photos, creative portraits of your birthday angel and I’ll supply the cake for your birthday celebration.
