I aim to make these newborn photography sessions feel calm and unhurried, allowing you to soak in every cuddle, every yawn and every tiny detail while creating timeless images you and your baby will treasure for years to come.
At Home with Baby
In-home newborn photography sessions are truly something special. There's no need for a styled studio or perfectly curated space. Your home already holds everything that matters. Staying at home with your baby removes the stress of packing up, getting out the door and settling somewhere unfamiliar. And please don't worry about having a spotless house, real life is welcome and encouraged here (and if needed just throw everything in the cupboard shhhh, if you can't see it, it doesn't exist).
When I had my first son I chose a studio session because that's what others I knew had done and I thought at home would feel too messy and overwhelming. I still love the images of my son but I now find myself wishing we had captured those early days where they actually unfolded. The rocking chair we spent hours in, the areas of the house that needed renovating (and honestly still do), the way our fur baby hovered close, the flowers and gifts we received. These small things defined this time in our lives and tell our story.

In hospital newborn photography session captures the very beginning, those first quiet and sometimes overwhelming but love filled moments after your baby arrives. Held in the hospital within the first few days these sessions focus on the raw, unfiltered moments. The tiny fingers wrapped around yours, first cuddles, siblings meeting for the first time and the emotion that fills theorem. There's no pressure for perfect outfits or poses, pyjamas are encouraged! Just a relaxed, documentary-style approach that honours your story as it naturally unfolds. Fresh 48 sessions are about preserving those fleeting details like hospital tags and blankets, the feeling of "we just met you." Creating timeless newborn photos that take you straight back to the very start of it all.
In hospital photo sessions are limited and subject to availability. While I do my very best to remain flexible around due dates as we all know births can be unpredictable and timing isn't always guaranteed. If we're unable to align within your hospital visit your session can seamlessly transition into a relaxed I -home newborn photography session, ensuring your story is still beautifully capture just in a slightly different settling.
Zero Birthday Celebration
Because every birthday needs cake!
All newborn sessions whether at home or in hospital include the option of a newborn "Zero BIRTH-day" cake to celebrate baby's OG birthday.
These newborn sessions still hold all the softness and connection you'd expect. I will capture those precious photos of baby’s tiny features, gentle moments with parents and the love shared with your immediate family. The cake simply adds an extra celebration. An opportunity to pause, soak it all in and mark the moment in a way that feels joyful and unforgettable.
I take care of brining the cake so you can stay present, cuddling your baby and celebrating this incredible new beginning. Rather than just posing for photos we create a genuine memory, singing happy birthday to your newest, most previous addition and documenting the emotion as it naturally unfolds.
Incorporating the zero birthday cake is my favourite thing to do with siblings, it is truly magical. The little ones light up with excitement, proudly singing and sharing the moment making it a heartfelt experience your whole family will never forget. My son still talks about singing happy birthday to his little brother at the hospital.
